Getting to Coomba Little Farm

If you’re driving from Sydney, we suggest taking a break after passing Newcastle, near the Heatherbrae area. This will help break up the journey and reduce your overall driving time. There are several dining options available, including McDonald’s, Subway, KFC, Hungry Jack’s, and Heatherbrae’s Pies. Plus, there’s ample green space for your furry companion to have a stretch and a walk.

You can easily locate this recommended stop on the map for reference.

After you’ve passed Bulahdelah, follow your GPS instructions to exit the highway. As you embark on The Lakes Way, please be aware that the road may be a bit winding for the first 15 minutes. Drive attentively and exercise caution.

Keep an eye out for a post marked with the number 1965. Upon arriving at the property entrance, you’ll find the front gate open for your convenience. Simply continue driving toward the house. We will send the instructions for the keys a day before your check in time.

House rules & Safety

  • The property has a lovely rural fence, but it’s not designed to prevent kids or dogs from exploring beyond it or venturing near the road. So, please keep a close eye on your beloved ones whenever they’re outside.
  • You’ll notice a peaceful dam on the corner of the property, close to the road, without any fencing. We’ve intentionally left it open so that wildlife can access water whenever they need it. Just be cautious as it can get slippery around the dam, so maintain a safe distance when you’re near it.
  • Our friendly neighbors’ dogs may occasionally pay us a visit. They’re well-behaved, but it’s a good idea to supervise your kids and dogs whenever they’re playing outside.
  • For your safety, there’s a fire extinguisher in the kitchen, conveniently located next to the fridge.
  • Before starting any outdoor fires, including BBQs, please check the current fire danger rating. You can find the most up-to-date information here: Fire Danger Rating.
  • We’re environmentally conscious and collect rainwater for the house, so please be mindful of your water usage during your stay.
