Coomba Little Farm, the dog-friendly hobby farm and accommodation

Welcome to Coomba Little Farm, our little slice of paradise in the heart of the beautiful village of Coomba Park! My name is Azadeh, and I’m here with my husband Harry. We’re both IT professionals who fell in love with Australia and decided to make it our home back in 2010. We’re also passionate animal lovers, and we have a cute Staffy named Cookie who is always by our side.

Fast forward a few years, and I convinced my parents to join us in this beautiful country, and we searched far and wide for the perfect spot for them to call home. After many weekends spent exploring different areas of Sydney, we stumbled upon Coomba Park and knew we had found the perfect place. Nestled in the heart of nature, my parents moved into their own acreage on Christmas day of 2015.

Harry and I found ourselves drawn to this peaceful place time and time again, and we spent many weekends helping my parents set up a greenhouse and vegetable garden. Even though none of us had any prior experience in farming or gardening, we soon discovered that being close to nature and growing our own crops was something we all truly enjoyed.

One day while visiting, we found ourselves dreaming of owning a piece of this beautiful paradise and making it our own. And as luck would have it, a property next to my parents’ became available for purchase. We took a leap of faith, and with the help of a loan, we became proud owners of our own acreage in April 2019.

As the pandemic hit and the world changed, we made the decision to move to Coomba Park permanently and turn our hobby farm into our full-time home. It has been an adventure, to say the least, with Harry and I working remotely while setting up a chicken coop, planning an orchard, starting a market garden and doing other infrastructure work. And as the world is recovering, we’re now able to live a semi-nomadic lifestyle, splitting our time between Sydney and Coomba Park.
